MY PHILOSOPHY
Welcome! I’m Christiana!
I believe that everybody deserves to see themselves and the ones they love in beautiful photographs.
When I first started as a professional photographer I went along to a workshop. A few of us were asked to bring our families as models. My family had never had a real portrait taken at the time and as much as I wanted a beautiful photo of my little family I didn’t feel my best. I was the heaviest I’d ever been and I hated the way my hair was, but we agreed to go and I hoped for the best.
The results were more than I could have hoped for. Although I wished I was thinner or that my hair wasn’t so short, I printed that photo on a massive canvas that still hangs in my home today.
That little boy who barely reached my shoulders is now towering over me, and he’s become the kindest and most sincere person I know. And my little girl, who reassured me then, and still tells me now, that I am beautiful just the way I am, has grown into an amazing woman and my closest friend.
